This is a poll, not a resolution: nothing is decided, ended or spent by it. It asks owners whether the building should set what it pays its body corporate manager beside what running itself on Quarter would cost ($864 a year for 6 units). The management fee on the budget is rarely the whole of what a manager is paid — extra-work charges, disbursements, other charges from the same firm and any commission taken out of the insurance premium usually sit elsewhere in the accounts or inside the premium. Until somebody adds up the building's own figures from the accounts, management agreement and insurance invoice, the comparison is an estimate for a building of this size. Any later decision to change how the building is managed would be a separate proposal.
