This asks the owners whether EV charging points, with the switchboard, cabling and load management they need, should be installed on the common property, how many, at what cost, and which fund pays. The owners corporation would maintain them afterwards. Who pays for the electricity the chargers use is a separate question, settled by a by-law change, not by this vote. Before voting, owners should weigh the cost (including running and maintenance), who will install and maintain the equipment, and which lots will be able to use it. Because NSW treats EV charging as sustainability infrastructure, it passes unless votes against reach 50% of the unit entitlement voting.
