The roof at 8 Yara Avenue is common property, so solar panels on it change something every lot shares, and every owner gets a say. This motion decides it all at once: whether the array goes ahead, its size (49 kW, estimated from Google's model of the roof), what it costs, which fund pays, and that the owners corporation maintains it afterwards. New South Wales law treats solar as sustainability infrastructure, so it passes unless owners holding 50% or more of the unit entitlements vote against it. Before voting, owners should weigh the cost, who will own, install and maintain the system, and which lots will benefit from it.
